Christine A. Favata, the creative force behind @stineaf, weaves a vibrant tapestry of expression through colorful mixed media, collages, and digital illustrations. Her “arts and crafts” style brings a touch of whimsy to the deeply honest, public diary (Instagram) she uses to talk about mental health.

As she constantly reaches for her younger self’s child-like lens on life, it is abruptly pulled away by the reality of adulthood. This is displayed in sketches, lettering, and photo edits that reflect a merging of “fever dream” with “day dream.”

Each piece is authentically “Stine,” whether digital or tactile. They show the commitment to expanding her craft in any avenue possible. That’s why, when @bakermadelimited offered to collaborate on a trucker hat line, Stine wanted to make this project no different. From scraps of recycled fabric, to bright paint and neon string, each hat is hand-made and one of a kind.
